It is true that with time its form also changed and continued to develop.

After paying monthly price to the hosting service provider, you are provided a fixed space (Web Space) on their web hosting server where you can host your website. You have to select the hosting server (Web Hosting Server) according to which server technology/language (ASP, Java, PHP etc.) your site is based on and which software (HTML, WordPress) it is built on.

How many types of web hosting are there?

Web hosting can be of many types according to the needs of the consumer. The size of the server, its speed and its technology are different according to the needs of each user. Cheap hosting is sufficient for running a small blogger or a website of 4-5 permanent pages, but for running a large commercial website you have to take cloud hosting or dedicated server.

1. Shared Hosting

Shared hosting is the recommended web hosting for new bloggers and small business people, most of the websites in the world are running on shared servers. Shared hosting is not only cheap but it is very easy to run and load or update the website. The reason for this is the control panel called cPanel, it is available for free with almost every shared hosting plan. For those who are new and do not know how to run a hosting server, cPanel is an easy way to control their website.

In shared hosting, the service provider divides the space of its server among many users, so that many users can run their websites on the same server. Due to sharing of resources, this service is available at a cheaper price, because many users can run their websites on the same server at a time.

2.  Virtual Private Server Hosting

VPS is a virtual server, its full form is Virtual Private Server. Some users are allocated separate resources on a single machine, which they use to run one or more of their websites. For example, you are provided separate RAM, storage space and software scripts which you can use only for your site or blog. You can shut down, restart or install some new software on your server whenever you want.

VPS is especially recommended for users who have multiple websites that require specific software or operating systems. It is also a little more expensive than shared hosting. If you need faster speed than a shared hosting server, you can choose VPS.

3. WordPress  Hosting

Dedicated hosting provides a complete server for your website, all the resources available on it are for your use only. There is no interference from other customers, which gives you improved speed to run your website. It is also quite expensive compared to shared hosting but its performance is excellent. It takes very little time for your website to open and even if many people visit your site at the same time, it is not a big deal.

If you want to create a high-capacity website that gets thousands of visitors daily, then choose dedicated hosting. Otherwise, you will have to bear the burden of paying a few thousand rupees per month on a regular basis.
